This policy covers gasgiant.co and every order and email from Gas Giant LLC ("Gas Giant", "we", "us").
The short version: we collect what we need to ship your order and answer your questions. We do not sell your personal information, and nothing we send you names what you bought.
What we collect
- When you order. Your name, email, phone number, shipping and billing address, and what you bought.
- When you pay. Card details go straight to our payment processor through the secure link we email you. We never see or store your full card number.
- When you confirm your age. The checkbox you tick at checkout, with the date and time, so we can show the order was placed by an adult.
- When you write to us. Your message and anything you attach, such as a photo of a damaged pack.
- When you browse. Your device, browser, rough location from your IP address, and the pages you visit.
How we use it
- To take payment, ship your order and send updates about it
- To answer questions and handle replacements and refunds
- To check that you are 21 or older and that we can ship to your address
- To add freebies your order qualifies for
- To stop fraud and keep the site secure and working
Your cart and cookies
Your cart is tied to a cookie so it is still there when you come back. It holds a reference to your cart, not your personal details, and nothing is sent to us until you check out.
We also use a few cookies to remember that you closed an offer and to count visits so we know which pages help. You can block or clear cookies in your browser. If you do, your cart may be empty next time.
Who we share it with
Every order ships in plain packaging, and your bank statement and shipping label never name what you bought. We share only what each company needs to do its job for us:
- Our payment processor, to charge your card
- Shipping carriers, to deliver your parcel
- Our email provider, to send order updates and payment links
- Our hosting and analytics providers, to run the site
- Authorities, when the law requires it
Each of them is bound by contract to use your information only for that job. If Gas Giant is ever sold or merged, your information would pass to the new owner under this same policy.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for seven years, because tax law asks us to. We keep messages until your question is settled and for a short while after. Everything else we delete once we no longer need it.
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- Send you a copy of what we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete your personal information
- Stop sending you email that isn't about an order
Write to [email protected]. We answer within 30 days, and we won't charge you or treat you differently for asking. We may keep what tax law requires us to keep.
California residents
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act you have the rights listed above, plus the right to know which categories of information we collected in the last 12 months and why. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context advertising.
Children
Gas Giant is for adults 21 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. If you think a minor has given us their details, write to us and we'll delete them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use information you already gave us, we'll email you first.
